Bloomsbury Festival is back for 2016 with a jam-packed line-up of art, music and science events and performances, celebrating this year’s theme of ‘language’ in one of London’s most culturally exciting neighbourhoods.

The fun doesn’t end there. We’re pleased to announce this year’s ultimate arts line-up – Step Out Store Street – a spectacular night-time street party with a twist. Store Street’s party is making a welcomed return and will see the street transformed by more than 100 artists and local dancers, to become a public stage for different forms of dance – so if you’re keen to learn more Bollywood, Street or Swing dance styles, join us on Friday 21st October.

In partnership with renowned dance company The Place, a new street dance will be created by award-winning dancer Tony Adigun with his Avant Garde Youth Company and will be premiered at Step Out Store Street.

PA-Boom’s fiery pyrotechnic Hot Head will also make a welcome return, marking the street’s entrance from Tottenham Court Road. Store Street’s mix of independent shops and restaurants will each house a different art, music or dance experience and Holborn Community Cooks, a Bangladeshi women’s social enterprise, will run food stalls throughout the evening.

Keep your eyes peeled, as more exciting information on Step Out Store Street will be revealed in the coming months. To pencil our free event in your diary, click here
