Lumiere returns to London, bigger, brighter and bolder than ever before. More than 50 artworks reimagine London’s architecture and streets, transforming the city into a dazzling spectacle. It is free to visit, why not book a day out this weekend and enjoy the displays?

You can find an ‘out of this world’ luminous installation on Store Street’s South Crescent, developed by a team of scientists and artists including Simeon Nelson, Nick Rothwell and Rob Goodman. Cosmoscope takes inspiration from the study of the universe, blood flowing through the human heart and the order and disorder of atoms and molecules. It explores patterns, structures and similarities of science and is truly breath-taking.

The lights switch on at 5.30pm, so if you’re planning a day out visit the British Museum, or enjoy an early dinner at The Life Goddess! Then make a beeline for the other installations in the area.
