The Bloomsbury Summer Fete- Friday 14th June 2013

It may not feel like it, but summer is almost here and that means it’s time for the Bloomsbury Summer Fete. Taking place in Bedford Square, visitors can relax and enjoy the sunshine, as well as food and drink from the stalls. The fete is a joint initiative between the Bloomsbury Association, whose purpose is to further the social, economic and environmental well being of individuals studying, working and living in Bloomsbury; and the Midtown Business Club, a not for profit organisation that focuses on promoting and providing new business opportunities within the Midtown area.

Many of Store Street’s tenants have pledged their support for the Bloomsbury Summer Fete and are being involved in a number of ways. Greek restaurant and deli The Life Goddess will be selling their tasty Greek treats and excellent British coffees, Adnams will be supplying their fantastic selection of Real Ales and summer cocktails to brighten everyone’s day. Orchidya, Store Street’s resident florist and the UK’s only Orchid florist, are decorating the event with their stunning Orchid arrangements, whilst the Printing Centre, Store Street’s one stop shop for students in the area, will be helping the cause by printing all leaflets and posters for distribution around the area. Foote’s music have provided a gong for the stage to assist with live music on the day, and Cloud9 Cycles will be displaying the latest designs in bespoke bicycles for all keen cyclists.

The Bloomsbury Summer Fete will take place in Bedford Square, London, on Friday 14th June from 11am- 10.30pm.
